My first official apperance as Mrs. Oklahoma 2011

I am incredibly excited for this opportunity that Oklavision invited me to come and share some thoughts with them! You guys are awesome!  What an emotional experience it was for me.  My first appearance; it was filled with anxiety, nervousness, excitement, is this real kind of feeling, and gratitude.  You might wonder why "anxiety", well i get a be anxious driving places that i do not know where i am going even if i have a GPS!! Just ask my husband he will tell you!  But i did it and i found my way there and was even 15 mins early!!  I am truly touched and honored to be YOUR Mrs. Oklahoma!  I have been blessed abundantly and owe everything to my Lord and Savior, who is my constant companion and rock.  I had a wonderful time at Oklavision and look forward to all the things to come this year!  Here is the link, go check the interview out!  Ok, just remember it was my FIRST live tv interview, and well, i figured out right away, after watching it, that i need to look at the camera!!:) Picture coming tonight!

Mrs. Oklahoma Pageant Jan. 21-22

My wonderful in laws and sick daughter and shirtless son(he was done after sitting for over 2 hrs)! Oh what a priceless pic of my children! :)

My family; thank you for making me feel so special and loved!

The crowning moment!

The Top 5

I am still amazed by the beautiful, fun, intelligent women that I was so fortunate to meet. Thank you to all of them for making this past weekend so memorable! You all are truly inspirations to me and thank you for all your kind words and support!

Thank you, Tracy for giving us all this opportunity to be "women" again! What a unique experience it was to focus on myself for the weekend and get back in touch with my womanhood! It was such a blessing to find that again, especially as we all get involved in being wives, mothers, daughters, and friends. For all of this Tracy, THANK YOU! It will never be forgotten!

It has most definitely been an whirlwind of emotion for me. I am still in shock when someone asks me "how does it feel to be Mrs. Oklahoma", and honestly i smile and laugh because it still hasn't fully sunk in! I have been greatly blessed with this wonderful opportunity to represent the married woman of Oklahoma! I would be no where without my Lord and Saviour, He is my constant rock. He has a plan for me in this purpose and I am ready to learn and fullfill His will. I am excited and eager to begin the journey, with great things on the horizon. My biggest focus for this time will be getting ready for Mrs. America, March 31- April 14 West Virginia! I want to thank all my family and friends for coming out and supporting me, it meant the world to me to have you there! I would not be the person I am today if i didn't have every one of you in my life, THANK YOU for being you and believing in me! My husband Jake, I could never have done this or made it this far in life if it wasn't for you, your love and support. I love you. Thank you for being the perfect husband and father.
